About Us

The STR Builders family business is made up of Rod & Cheryl Nichols over seeing the two branches.

Ty & Jen Nichols manage the Riverina NSW branch, while Scott & Kellie Nichols manage the Sunshine Coast QLD.

Rod Nichols

Rod has over thirty-eight years experience in the building industry, from his first single storey to woking in the commercial and civil industrry he has done it all. Rod liaises with all of the STR clients, helping to design their dream home. He will design your new home using computer drafting planing which can give you 3D pictures or a vitual walk through of your new home..

Cheryl Nichols

Cheryl being a qualified interior designer has decorated many of STR's display homes which have opened over the years. Cheryls also found in the office taking care of all the administration and paper work needs to keep the business running smoothly.

Ty Nichols

Ty having over fifteen years hands on experience in the building industry he is more than qualified to look after all the onsite construction of your future investment. Ty is currently studying for his own builders license to further his knowledge and understanding of the building industry.

Jennifer Nichols

Jennifer's contribution to the business is assisting in the Riverina office and also takes on the role of now updating our website. As Jennifer's back ground is in teaching and childcare she is learning all she can about being in Business.

Scott Nichols

Being an enthusiastic builder and designer of his own homes, Scott's attention to detail has evoked over the past twelve years. Settling in Maroochydore to expand STR's branches further a field Scott always maintains the high standard of quality, giving each and every house the personal STR family touch. He is also currently studying for his license and residential design certificate. Scott is particularly interested in design and applications of innovative building materials to create unique homes and energy - efficient sustainability which is becoming more prevalent.

Kellie Nichols

Kellie assists in the running of the sunshine coast office. She deals with clients, tradesman, councils and liaises with Scott about plans and the daily running of the business. Kellie has also studied landscape design and can provide suggested landsape drawings and plant lists for clients when required. She also assists clients withcolour co-ordination and interior selections.
